At the end of the small, but idyllic village Gehlberg, lies our small-scale holiday park. In this park, in the middle of nature, you will find holiday house "Gabelbachskopf". This spacious detached holiday home is warmly and tastefully decorated with fresh light colors. It offers places up to 8 people, but also with fewer people it is wonderful to celebrate your holiday. We expect this house to immediately give our guests a warm home feeling. You can relax on the wonderfully spacious corner sofa or cozy together with each other, play games or have a nice chat at the beautiful dining table with comfortable chairs around it.

The house has a surface of 175 m2. On the ground floor you will find a cozy living room, complete kitchen, bathroom with shower, cozy bedroom with a double bed and a spacious hall. On the 1st floor you will find 3 cozy bedrooms with 2-person beds and a bathroom / laundry room with sink.

The park is completely fenced, but your own garden of the holiday home is fenced. This house has the largest garden and is of course fully furnished with tables and chairs. A barbecue is also available. The kitchen of the holiday home "Gabelbachskopf" is equipped with a refrigerator, a combi-microwave, a gas stove, a dishwasher, a coffee machine (filter coffee), an electric kettle and a toaster. Of course, there is also everything present from cutlery, plates and glasses.

We take care of the first need and always have a toilet roll, kitchen roll, dishcloth, dishwashing cubes and some cleaning products. Also for the first coffee or tea moment there are some filter bags, coffee, tea bag and sugar.

For the children we have a toilet raiser and a step / stool in stock and also some children's cutlery is there. And on the park there is a small playground with trampoline, swings, sandpit, climbing frame and volleyball court. Adjacent to the park there is also a football field that can be used. Furthermore, several cozy seating areas have been created in the park. And there is a parking space in the park where you can park your car, of course free of charge.

The area, where holiday park Gehlberg is located in the middle, is ideal for hikers. And in the winter it is also ideal for cross-country skiers, with snow it is fairytale-like. You can also cycle for hours with the mountain bike in the beautiful nature.

Location

The small and idyllic resort town of Gehlberg is located in the beautiful Thuringian Forest.

The holiday park is situated on the edge of Gehlberg, surrounded by hills, forests, and meadows. The nearest towns are Oberhof, Ilmenau, and Suhl. The area is perfect for hikers and, in winter, for cross-country skiers. The fenced grounds include a small sports field for volleyball and football.

The region offers a wide variety of leisure and recreational activities: hiking, fishing, cycling, tennis, horseback riding, carriage rides, bowling, cinema, and much more.

When winter and snow turn the landscape into a white winter wonderland, it's time to take advantage of the opportunities the cold season offers: kilometers of cross-country skiing trails, winter hiking paths, natural toboggan runs, ice skating, snowshoe hikes, and small ski lifts can be found in the immediate vicinity.
